Templates and Tools

The Lightbox Gallery is an open ended experimental space in the Harvard Art Museums dedicated to projects and artworks that use new media and emerging technologies to explore the museums' collection. If you can write code for the web, you can build projects to run in the Lightbox. Here are a few template projects to get you started.

Templates

Node.js + Express + Socket.io

Tools

3D Room Viewer - An interactive virtual Lightbox Gallery web app

3x3 Grid Alignment and Bezel Compensation Overlay (PSD Format) - Use as an overlay in video and image editing software to help you position content and to avoid cutting off content under the screen bezels.

3D Campus Map - Use to view the impact of daylight on the gallery during any given time and day of the year.

Other Stuff

There are additional technologies available for interaction.
